
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most famous part was as Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) in which the actor was nominated five times for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in the Drama Series. The award was presented to him in 1985. In the television series Blue Bloods, Selleck has played Frank Reagan, New York City Police Commissioner.
